LYRA - 09 | Exploring Authorship in the Age of AI
Challenge
AI music platforms can now generate full songs by analyzing existing artists’ work. This raises concerns around ownership, consent, and authenticity, as voices and styles can be replicated without clear credit. As AI-generated music becomes harder to distinguish from human work, it challenges how we define creativity and artistic value.
Solution
This project is a collaborative process between human creators and artificial intelligence. The lead track, Emotion Without Origin, was written by me and serves as the human foundation of the project, with AI used as a collaborative tool rather than the source of authorship. Producers, writers, musicians, and designers work together to build a complete AI-assisted album and visual identity, making the creative process transparent and inviting conversation about creativity in the age of AI.

The title track, Emotion Without Origin, unfolds like a heartbeat in the dark, where sound becomes the language feelings cannot speak.
It lingers in the glow between connection and distance, between warmth and static.
The track explores the quiet tension between knowing what love sounds like and understanding what it means.
