InContext is a human-centered mobile app I designed to help museum visitors engage more deeply with the art around them. The app includes location-based functionality that allows users to discover nearby museums, explore current exhibits, and see what’s popular at each institution. Once inside a museum, users can navigate with a detailed interactive map and use the built-in image recognition feature to take photos of artworks and instantly access curated, layered information. A conversational AI helps users dive deeper by answering questions, suggesting prompts, and making art more approachable. Visitors can also save favorite pieces to revisit later. Every feature is designed to make the museum experience more personal, intuitive, and enriching—from planning a visit to engaging with art on-site.

InContext helps visitors see beyond the label and form meaningful connections with the art they encounter.
